Urgent Care Family Care Network FAQ
How is UCFC a better fit for my family than other clinics?
We want to provide healthcare that doesn't take weeks for an appointment, hours waiting to be seen, or having to wait on scripts to be called into a pharmacy. We have all of your healthcare needs under one roof! Aside from providing extended hours (7a-9p M-F, 9a-9p weekends/holidays), we want to offer our patients an alternative to the "ER" or standard "Urgent Care" waits and especially their higher fees.
What if I have a child that wakes up with a fever or is sick after I get home from work?
Call us FIRST! We open at 7am and walk-ins are always welcome! Our goal is to get you checked in, seen by the provider, and on your way to the pharmacy quicker than anyone! We know families will love how convenient it is having OneSource pharmacy located under the same roof! Also, with locations in Caddo, Milburn, and Calera, your patient chart can be accessed from any location, alleviating the need for extra paperwork.
Do I have to use a certain hospital?
UCFC is locally owned and has no affiliation to any hospital. We put our patients first!
How can your clinic provide additional services I might need that other clinics cannot?
Other clinics send you to the hospital or another facility for procedures that we do in house. Our specialties include: casting, suturing, administering fluids, performing x-rays, bone density tests, and pulmonary function tests. If a patient needs a specialty doctor, we provide referrals. We plan the appointment, send all of the paperwork, and make sure the paperwork gets back to our clinic for the provider to review with the patient. We don't charge for this service. On top of that, we are able to charge family care pricing, even though we offer urgent care services.
In what ways is your staff continuing to update thier knowledge of new medical information?
We have extensive training in Medicare Electronic Health Record Incentive Program, which helps improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient health care. We are committed to heart health through the Oklahoma Healthy Hearts initiative. HealthyHearts Initiative is a 501(c)3 organization whose sole purpose is to provide education, prevention programs, and access to affordable cardiovascular care to individuals in under-served and under-insured communities in Oklahoma.
